About Me

Hi, I’m Kristen :)

I’m a third year student at York University pursuing an Honours Bachelors Degree of Design.

Growing up, I always felt the creative urge but couldn’t find a proper outlet for it. I tried my hand at fine arts in elementary and middle school but it wasn’t until high school that I was introduced to all sorts of digital tools like Photoshop and Illustrator. From there, I fell in love with design and later pursued studying it in university!

While it has been a long time since I learned how to use a pen tool on Adobe Illustrator, design has shown me a new world and has taught me so much. Now, I’ve become a designer passionate about designing experiences — for users, clients, consumers and all of the above.

Outside of design, you can find me tracking different metrics and points of data in my life to make silly little spreadsheets and Notion pages! (You should see my karaoke average score spreadsheet) I might also be at a concert or fighting Ticketmaster for tickets for another concert!
